Look! It’s my name in boldface font!

Jonathan at The Core Mechanic promised someone would be winning a free copy of the RPG Blog Anthology when it comes out… all you had to do was nominate some specific blog entries for consideration in the finished product and you would be entered in a drawing for the sweet, sweet prize. And… I guess I won the drawing for nominating Sham’s epic Tomb of Horrors story. Wow. I’m a little stunned, quite frankly. I usually don’t win ‘jack or shit’ as Bruce Campbell would say. Actually, now that I think about it, I do recall winning a chess tournament in high school once, but I think I used some underhanded tactics with the clock to get past one opponent, so it was a tainted victory.

But this… this is pure, undiluted V-I-C-T-O-R-Y at its finest (make sure to wait a week before cashing that check, Jon).

Seriously though, the Anthology looks as if it’s turning out to be a splendid little idea, and I think I speak on behalf of a number of bloggers and readers when I say ‘kudos’ to Jon. I can’t wait to see the finished product.
