And it looks incredible. 402 pages of 1st edition flavored awesomeness. Everything you could possibly need to run a game is contained within this tome. No flipping back and forth between a player’s guide, GM’s guide, and a monster manual – it’s all there at your fingertips. Download it now.
I want a hard cover of this so freaking bad… and a GM to play with so I can run an obnoxious Half-orc cleric/assassin of the neutral evil persuasion.

Great artwork (inside and out)! And everything else for that matter (rules are explained so even I get it). Download now, and I’ll be picking one up in hard cover as soon as possible.
Move over 3E and 4E 1E is back baby!!!

I hate to say it, but the D&D franchise is dead to me with 4th edition. I decided to get back to basics and I purchased the old AD&D rules from paizo.com. Not a week later Paizo announced that WoC had revoked their lisence to sell 1st edition materials officially putting them out of print. Thanks to OSRIC for saving the day!

Fantastic book. Got mine from Lulu and its wonderful. Has great cover art front and back, interior binding print and layout also top notch. If you haven’t already done so, buy the book from Lulu, its worth every penny. I got the hard cover, but a cheaper softcover can be had for $15 (thats equal in quality).
Monsters of Myth is also a fantastic monsters book, the MM3 I’d say. Seriously, your collection wouldn’t be complete without either. http://stores.lulu.com/firsteditionsociety
Thanks to team OSRIC for getting this out to us. Gygax I’m sure is smiling down from heaven. Go OSRIC! Long live 1E AD&D.
